Assembly Process (done upside down): A. ClamTop is filled with merchandise (automatable) B. Card is "fitted" to ClamTop's proud-points (automated) C. Light-activated adhesive is applied to proud-points (automated) D. ClamBottom "snapped" to ClamTop (automated) E. Package conveyed through thru the light to "set" the seal (automated) Result: Clamshell is bonded thru the card; not to the card or between two cards (common predecessor methods). |
