Some plastics, such as PVC, are slow to break down at the landfill. "Landfill friendly" plastics (e.g. PET, RPET, PLA) are less troublesome. Partner Pak lets you choose because there are no dies, tooling or machiner that need to be modified or replaced.

Large-volume production is common with Partner Pak predecessors. Why? Partner Pak takes only minutes to change-over a prodcution line, so smaller runs are practical. And, smaller runs mean less inventory stockpiling and less potential waste from overruns.

JIT (Just In Time) = Friendly

Package size helps secure against pilferage, but small merchandise in large, plastic packages is not "friendly." Paper can be the replacement for plastic's "size." And, if engineered correctly (see ClamCard) the paper that replaces plastic can also retain shelf-presence.

Sealing with light offers many more "friendly" replacements such as: No paper coatings, nothing toxic, no waste or cutoffs, no harmful emissions, right sizing, clean workplace, minimum plastic thickness, etc.
