How does "SIMPLICITY" improve packaging?

Simpl-Seal® is engineered to keep things simple! Four components: 1] a UV light system; 2] a steel tunnel (confines/focuses UV); 3] continuous, speed-adjustable conveyor through the tunnel and; 4] ventilation. Primary maintenance is a UV light (replace every hundred shifts or so) and keeping the machinery clean.

Applying UV-cure adhesive is simple. Manual application via swab, squeeze bottle, etc. Automated application via a roller or robot. Semi-automatic via hand-held wand.

Simplicity is best demonstrated via comparison. So, what does Simpl-Seal not need that predecessors do need? No pressure, no energy bursts, no arcing, no heat, no rotating or shuttling table and no tooling or fixtures.

Good cases may be made for reduced set up (A&B above) and better sealing (3,5,6,7), but those comparisons are best done via samples (click "Pkg Testing" above). That said, please consider the following questions:
  - Is Simpl-Seal or are its predcessors simpler?
  - Is it simpler to manually apply adhesive or manually place packaging in a press and then take it out?
  - Does sealing dwell time impact the above answer?
  - If all steps are automated, then which process is the least complex?

Simplicity has four values: 1] learning/use; 2] production line changeover 3] maintenance; 4] reliability.
... and these four values ALL increase profitability!

Simplicity... Simpler isn't "just better." Simplicity reduces time, minimizes worker skill-sets, reduces effort and can reopen the door to JIT production.
