HISTORY OF PARTNER PAK's "Simpl" UV PROCESS
|
Partner Pak was not first to see merchandising problems created by old technology for sealing clamshells and blisters. Nor was Partner Pak first to witness limitations these half-century-old machinery designs placed on packagers.
But Partner Pak was first to find better technology that could overcome the problems and limitations. Headquarted in Southern California, Partner Pak's President, Paul Appelbaum, led development of a "simpl," fast, sustainable sealing process called, "Simpl-Seal®."
Initially, Simpl-Seal processed thousands of packages monthly... packages not sealable by its predecessors.

Today, Simpl-Seal machines seal millions of packages and the original focus on "sensitive" packaging now includes general processing. Today's Simpl-Seal seals everything from tools to perfume and there is no known sealing method that uses less labor, less material or less energy. Plus, Simpl-Seal produces packaging that maximizes "sustainability." And, nothing matches its simplicity, sealing speed and ease-of-use.
Over two years ago, Partner Pak introduced Simpl-Track® (assembly automation). Simpl-Seal's sealing benefits of simpler, faster, easier, sustainable became available for assembly, too. Plus, when coupled with Simpl-Seal, Simpl-Track offers a one-machine-one-operator assembly and sealing system. |
|
The first "invention" was to utilize UV as an instant catalyst to convert liquid plastic into a strong adhesive that bonds plastic-to-plastic and plastic-to-paper. The second invention was a UV-light system that had no dwell time (conveyor sealing). The final step was making it all simple, reliable, sustainable and maintainable...
Simpl-Seal!
